Beatles Fest West 2011

Where'm I coming from: Hmm, I am coming in from the Big Valley (120 miles).

Why?
1) I used to live in Hayward (born and raised), so I am used to hopping on the Bay Bridge to party in The City.
2) I love to listen (and sing along with) The Beatles, but
3) The Bealtes haven't performed a concert for just years now, so
4) The next best thing to a Beatles concert, is going to a BUNCH of Beatles bands rocking and rolling; therefore,
5) I am going to be a part of Beatles Fest West.

I have heard The Sun Kings ... pretty good
I've been to see Rain ... in a couple reincarnations
The Fab Four ... certainly is fab
Before the Fest ... I am gonna see the White Album
And then there's The Beatles Project ... the best band to watch with your eyes closed

Now, I will get a couple Day-Long concerts in the City by the Bay ... whew, I hope I will survive the experience, but if not, at least I'll die happy

Long live the Beatles ... and long live Beatles Fest West

My 9-year-old daughter and I are coming from Oklahoma (just a quick jaunt!) for Beatles Fest West. The primary reason? To see The Sun Kings and our pal Drew Harrison. But we will also be there because we are huge Beatles fans, we love a festival atmosphere and we really enjoy San Francisco. We are looking forward to seeing ALL the acts, including The Cryers (Joe Orlando of The Cryers was in the group of people I hung around with all weekend at BFW 2009 and he's a lovely guy).

Have to say I'm SUPER excited about the new venue this year. It is going to be beyond fab having so much within walking distance for when the kid gets antsy or hungry.

Hi my name is Hector Penalosa, and I live in San Diego. I have a Beatles cover band, " THE BAJABUGS". We are four Mexican-Amrican musicians who obviously love the Beatles. we have been together for 9 years now, and as of late , our current line up has been the best THE BAJABUGS have ever had.
We are a four piece, and we focus on the early career of the Beatles, plus a few songs from the later period.

I took my wife and children to see The Return perform last Sunday (10/10/10). They were excellent! We're still talking about how fun we had. Thanks for having them.
